NORFOLK - Jacob Blumberg, 83, died yesterday at 5:27 p.m. at a Norfolk hospital.
He was a native of Philadelphia and a resident of this section for the past 12 
years, residing at 608 13th St., Virginia Beach, at the time of his death.
He is survived by a son, Edward Blumberg of Washington; three daughters, Mrs. 
Moe Richter of Virginia Beach, Mrs. H. M. Himelfarb of Chambersburg, PA, and 
Mrs. Sylvia Baden, of Washington; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 
two sisters, Mrs. Ray Singer of Bristol, PA, and Mrs. Dora Solomon of San 
Francisco; a brother, Morris Blumberg of Atlantic City, NJ.
Mr. Blumberg was a member of Temple Emanuel, Virginia Beach.
Funeral services will be conducted at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts tomorrow at 
noon, by Rabbi Paul Reich, D.D., of Beth El Temple. Burial will be in Khal 
Chasidim Cemetery (B'Nai Israel Cemetery).
