Mrs. Blumenthal was born in Norfolk and was the widow of Adolph Blumenthal. She was a member of B'Nai Israel Congregation and its Sisterhood; Hadassah; Golden Age Club; and Brith Sholom Auxiliary. Survivors include a daughter, Edie B. Schlain, and a son, Dr. Harold Blumenthal, both of Norfolk; and a grandchild. The funeral will be conducted at noon today in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts, Norfolk, by Rabbi Shlomo Goder and Rabbi Israel Bornstein. Burial will be in B'Nai Israel Cemetery. Friends may join the family at 1706 While Lane.
