Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Nov. 21, at Pretlow’s Funeral Home, with the Rev. H. W. B. Walker officiating. Military graveside rites followed in Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Blunt, of 2623 Liberia drive, had lived in Norfolk 30 years. A native of Aiken, SC, son of Henry and Mrs. Bessie Blunt, he was an Army veteran of World War I and saw service in France and Germany. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and St. John AME Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel Blunt; two sisters, Mrs. Kelly Pope and Mrs. Meredith Hightower; and one brother, Robert Blunt, all of New York City.
