Norfolk Virginian Pilot March 6, 1947

Mary Katherine Boatwright, four months old daughter of Richard H. and Mrs. Rose 
Marie Riley Boatwright, died at a local hospital Tuesday at 5:20 p.m. after an 
illness of two weeks. She was born in Chicago but had lived here for three 
months. Her parents reside at 795 West Ocean View Avenue. 
The body was taken to the James V. Derry Funeral Chapel.

Mary Katherine Boatwright — Funeral services for the four-month-old daughter of 
Richard H. and Rose Marie Riley Boatwright, were conducted in the James V. Derry 
Funeral Chapel yesterday at 10:30 a.m. by the Rev. Edward W. Johnston, pastor of 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
