She was a daughter of Benjamin F. and Mrs. Martha Creamer Dixon. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and its T.E.L. Bible Claw. Surviving are a son, Ralph Dixon Bobbitt of Norfolk; three half-sisters, Mrs. W. C. Creekmore of Virginia Beach, Mrs. Sam T. Geberich of Norfolk, and Mrs. Fred Elias of Omaha, Neb.; two grandsons, Ralph D. Bobbitt Jr. and Gary L. Bobbitt, of Norfolk, and three great-grandsons. A funeral service will be conducted in Smith & Williams Funeral Home Wednesday at 3 p.m. by Dr. Walker N. Stockburger of Trinity Baptist Church and the Rev. W. D. Morris of Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
