BOBBITT, HOWARD – At his residence, 2321 Ballentine Boulevard, Friday, May 30, 
1947, at 8:45 a.m., a native of Petersburg, but a resident of this section 45 
years, HOWARD BOBBITT, a son of the late Burwell B. and Fannie Smith Bobbitt and 
husband of Mrs. Emma Dixon Bobbitt, of Norfolk, aged 74 years. The body was 
removed to the Sykes Funeral Home, 124 East Berkley Avenue, where funeral services 
will be conducted SUNDAY AFTERNOON at 3:30 o’clock. Interment will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
