Death of a Worthy Youth
The Virginian is pained to announce the death of Louis W. Bobee, a most worthy 
youth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bobee, who died yesterday morning at 2:30 
o’clock in the 18th year of his age, after a prolonged illness, which he bore 
with the most beautiful Christian patience and fortitude and in the knowledge 
that his end was near. This is the third child that afflicted parents have 
lost within the three years and in their deep anguish they have the sincere 
sympathy oft eh community. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 3 
o’clock from St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
The flag at St. Mary’s Academy was lowered at half-mast out of respect to the 
memory of the deceased.
