Norfolk - Blunt Boddie of 710 Avenue A died Tuesday in a Norfolk hospital 
after a long illness.

A native of Nashville NC, he was a son of Daniel and Mrs. Phillipa Boddie 
and the husband of the late Mrs. Celia Boddie.

He was a retired City of Norfolk employee with 17 years of service. He was a 
member of First Calvary Baptist Church and served on the Men’s Usher Board.

Surviving are 15 nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in First Calvary 
Baptist Church by the Rev. C. E. Griffin. Burial will be in Calvary 
Cemetery, with Riddick Funeral Service in charge.
