The deceased had only been in America five months and has no relatives in this country. Before his sickness he was in the employ of the Marine Restaurant at the Jamestown Exposition grounds. His funeral will be held from the apartments of Funeral Director H. D. Oliver, 520 Freemason Street, at 1 o'clock this afternoon. Norfolk Ledger Dispatch August 26, 1907 The funeral of Wilhelm Boehling the young German attaché of the Marine restaurant at the Exposition., who died at one of the local hospitals, took place at 1 p.m. yesterday from Oliver’s funeral apartments, and was conducted by the Rev. J. B. Merritt, Seamen’s chaplain. Interment in Elmwood.
