The Norfolk Virginian Pilot May 22, 1934 


Miss Henrietta Boggs, aged 73, daughter of the late Robert G. and Mrs. 
Elizabeth Johnson Boggs, died at the residence, 724 Thirty Fourth Street, 
yesterday morning at 10:45 o’clock. Miss Boggs was a native of Isle of Wight 
County and had spent practically her entire life in Norfolk. She is survived by 
a sister, Miss Eulah E. Boggs, and a brother, Robert L. Boggs, both of Norfolk, 
two nieces Miss Alma Lee Boggs, of Norfolk and Mrs. Amos Daniel, of North 
Carolina, and three nephews, John William Boggs, Robert Ward Boggs, and Herbert 
Macon Boggs, all of Norfolk.
Funeral services will be held at the residence Wednesday afternoon at 4 
o’clock, with the Rev. Thomas A. Smooth, D.D., pastor of Epworth Methodist 
Church, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
