Virginian-Pilot January 20, 1946
Newport News, Jan. 19 – Funeral services for Charles W. Bohlken, 49, who was 
fatally injured Thursday night when he was struck by two automobiles near his home 
in Hilton Village, will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m., at the residence. Dr. 
William W. McIntyre, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial 
will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be A. L. Bivins, Sam Hutchins, R. T. Hathcock, Charles 
Gresham, Lieut. Col. Paul Edwards, C. L. Spurling, M. B. King, Churchill Roane, 
Mr. Brewer and Henry F. Moore.
