HAMPTON – Mrs. Ethel C. Bohlken, 92, of 61 Hollywood Ave., died Saturday in 
James River Convalescent Center, Newport News.
She was born in Washington.
She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Hampton.
She was also a member of Shelton Home Ladies’ Auxiliary and Hampton Roads Bird 
Club.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Emma B. Jaeger of Newport News, Mrs. 
Mildred B. Price of Hampton and Miss Doris B. Bohlken of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. 
Margaret C. Bosman of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren; and eight great-
grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Monday in Lawrence B. Wood Funeral 
Home Chapel, by Glenn G. Williams of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. today in the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions 
to Aldersgate United Methodist Church or a favorite charity.
