Virginian Pilot April 9, 1974

KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Fred Read Bohlken, 72, died Monday in the Medical Center.
A native of Newport News, Va., he retired in 1966 from the Merchant Marine.
He was a member of Kissimmee United Methodist Church. 
Survivors include a sister, Miss Margaret P. Bohlken of Newport News; and a 
brother, Jack T. Bohlken of Columbus, Ohio.
The body is being sent to Jennell Funeral Home, Newport News, and arrives 
today.  The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 8:30.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery, 
Norfolk, by the Rev. James M. John of Trinity United Methodist Church, 
Newport News.
