Bolden of 601 East Princess Anne road and her daughter, Miss Eunice Bolden, a native of Norfolk who lived in New York. Miss Bolden, the daughter of Eddie and the late Mrs. Bolden, died in a hospital in New York. Her remains were interred in Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk, after a funeral service in New York. Mrs. Bolden, a life-long resident of Norfolk, died several days after the burial of her daughter. A funeral service for her was held in Hale Funeral Chapel with the Rev. E. Paul Simms officiating. Mrs. Bolden, one of the eldest members of First Baptist Church, where she had served with the Gospel Choir many years, was well-known in her church and throughout the city. The daughter of the late Josiah and Mrs. Mary E. Elliott, Mrs. Bolden is survived by, in addition to her husband, two daughters, Miss Elizabeth Bolden of Norfolk and Mrs. Empsie Saunders of New York, and a son, Cornelius Bolden of Norfolk. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
