Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - January 2, 2000
Isabel M. Bolick, 78, of the 100 block of South Kentucky Ave., Virginia Beach, 
and a former resident of Norfolk, died in the loving presence of her family on 
Dec. 31, 1999. 
Born in Amhearst, Pa., she was a member of Third Presbyterian Church, Norfolk, 
and the widow of Lloyd P. Bolick. 
Survivors include three daughters, Rose M. Garcia of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Linda 
A. Williams and her husband, John Gary Williams Sr., of Virginia Beach, and 
Joyce A. Dowdy and her husband, Donald D. Dowdy Sr., of Grandy, N.C.; three 
sons, Ronald W. Bolick of Chesapeake, Lloyd Wayne Bolick and his wife, Eleanor, 
of Virginia Beach, and Frank D. Bolick and his wife, Sherry, of Chesapeake; 11 
grandchildren, Dana Marie Garcia, Richard C. Garcia III, Melissa L. Calpo and 
her husband, Niel Alan Calpo Sr., John Gary Williams Jr., James Thomas Slate 
III, Donald D. Dowdy Jr., Lloyd Wayne Bolick Jr., Kathryn Anne Bolick, Jason 
Dennis Bolick, Cara Jean Bolick and Shaun D. Coulter; two great-grandchildren, 
Niel Alan Calpo Jr. and Rielle Lynn Calpo; and a nephew, Timothy Palmer of 
Arnold, Md. 
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Lynnhaven Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will 
receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
