Thomas "Tommy" Bomar II, 39, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018. Tommy was 
born on August 22, 1978 in Minneola, NY. He was raised in Virginia Beach, VA. 
Tommy is a graduate of Tallwood High School. After high school, Tommy moved back 
to New York. He attended Adelphi University and had a successful career as a Web 
Developer. Tommy will be remembered as a high energy person, a creative artist, 
music and beach lover. Tommy is survived by his father Thomas W. Bomar, mother Ava 
Lemon and step-father William Lemon, sister Kim Bomar Beasley and husband Chris, 
brothers William Bomar and James Bomar, his godparents Douglas and Luz Jorif, 
niece and nephews and a host of family and friends. Graveside services will be 
held at noon on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at St. Mary's Cemetery, 3000 Church 
Street in Norfolk, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to 
either The Governor's School for the Arts (www.gsarts.org) or the Virginia Beach 
Surf & Rescue Museum (www.vbsurfrescuemuseum.org)
