NORFOLK - James "JB" Bond, 67, of the 2200 block of Silbert Road, entered into
eternal rest April 29, 2010. He was born Feb. 6, 1943 in Enfield, N.C.

He was the son of the late Horace Pitts Sr. Mr. Bond was employed by the city of
Norfolk for 35 years and was honored as the 2001, Employee of the Year.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Sadie Ballard; sons, Randy Wiggins and
James "BAM" Jones; sister, Malencie Ballard; brothers, Horace Pitts Jr., George
Ballard Jr., and Herbert Ballard Sr.; special family friend, Thomas Hassell;
godbrother, Bernard Jones; neices, Melanie Ballard, Charlene Ballard and Kim
Cowan; nephews, James Clark, Herbert Ballard Jr., and George Ballard III; and a
host of other family and friends.

We will always love you.

A funeral will be held Thursday, May 6, at noon in Herald of His Coming COGIC by
the Rev. Joseph L. Hassell.
