Mrs. Bessie Bond of 847 “A” avenue died at a local hospital Nov. 20.  Funeral 
services were conducted by the Rev. J. Q. A. Lassiter on Nov. 25 at Bethlehem 
Baptist Church, where the deceased held membership.

A native of Edenton NC, daughter of the late Edward and Mrs. Mary Paxton, Mrs. 
Bond is survived by one son, James Bond of Norfolk;   and two grandchildren, 
Minnie and Helen Munden of Norfolk.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge.
