Virginian Pilot August 17, 1955

                          Carpenter Dies

Henderson Bonds, 72, a carpenter, of 818 St. Paul Street, died Monday in a 
Norfolk hospital. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the 
Metropolitan AME Zion Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. He is survived 
by his wife, Maria; three sons, Willie, Philip and James Bonds, of Norfolk; five 
daughters, Marian, Marie and Ethel Bonds, of Norfolk and Anne and Annie Lee 
Bonds, of New York City and a brother, Tom Bonds, of Norfolk.
