NORFOLK - Phillip Bond of the 1000 block of Grayson St., a retired general 
contractor, died December 5, 1988, in his home.

Mr. Bond, a native of Edenton, N.C., was a Methodist.

Survivors include four sisters, Marie Lester and Marion Bush, both of Norfolk, 
and Anne Walter and Anne E. Johnson, both of New York City, and a brother, 
Willie Bond of Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Graves Funeral Home by the 
Rev. Walter Barrett. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetry. Friends may join the 
family at the residence.
