She was the wife of Henry G. Bonney and a native of Princess Anne County, but had resided in Norfolk for 45 years. She was the daughter of the late Hilary Sherwood and Miriam Whitehurst Sherwood. Besides her husband, Mrs. Bonney is survived by one daughter, Mrs. George Hoyer, of Chicago; three sons, Dr. H.E. Bonney, Hope H. Bonney and Henry G. Bonney, Jr., all of Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. J.C. Litchfield, of Princess Anne County; one brother, C.O. Sherwood, of Ocean View and four grandchildren. Services will be held at H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason Street, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. William Archer Wright, pastor of Park Place M.E. Church, of which Mrs. Bonney was a member, officiating.
