Norfolk Virginian Pilot, Sunday, Aug 1,1937
Miss Nannie A. Bonney, aged 81, daughter of Henry W. and Mrs. Aseneath White 
Bonney, died at a local hospital yesterday afternoon at 3:45 o'clock. She was a 
native of Knotts Island, NC, and a resident of Norfolk for 50 years. She is 
survived by one sister, Mrs. Lydia W. Capps, and a brother, Henry G. Bonney, 
both of Norfolk, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at H. D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East 
Freemason street, tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock with the Rev. C. M. 
Gordon, D.D. pastor of the First Christian Church (Disciples), of which Miss 
Bonney was a member, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
