Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch March 29, 1946
BONNEY, SAMUEL SELDEN – At a local hospital, Friday night, March 29, 1946, at 
11:45 o’clock, SAMUEL SELDEN BONNEY, son of the late William A. and Ella Morein 
Bonney, in the 72nd year of his age. Funeral services will be conducted at he 
Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home SATURDAY MORNING, March 30, 1946, at 10:30 o’clock. 
Friends of the family invited to attend. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

From his death certificate, death was March 28, 1946, at 11:45 p.m. That was a 
Thursday.
