Bonney died at his residence, No. 31 Grigsby Place, Sunday afternoon. The deceased was born in Princess Anne County and was the son of the late Col. Wilson M. Bonney, who for several years was sheriff of the county. Mr. Bonney was one of the best known citizens of Norfolk, having been engaged in the retail grocery business here for a period of forty years. During his lifetime he served several terms in the city councils and at various times a member of both branches of that body. He is survived by a widow and five children, Wilson M. Bonney, Henry F. Bonney, Samuel S. Bonney and Oscar Bonney; and an only sister, Mrs. C.D. Whiting. The funeral will be held from the residence at noon today and will be conducted by Rev. Joseph Rennie, D.D., of the First Presbyterian Church, assisted by Rev. M. McG. Shields, of the Park Avenue Presbyterian Church. Additional Comments: Elmwood Son Frederick W.
