He was a native of Princess Anne County, but had been a resident of Norfolk for 45 years. He was the son of the late Thomas W. and Mrs. Sarah Simmons Bonney and for many hears was engaged in the clothing and furnishing business and was well known in business and fraternal circles. For several years prior to his retirement, on account of failing health, he was associated with Burk & Co. Mr. Bonney was a member of Ghent Methodist Church and the following Masonic bodies: Ruth Lodge No. 89, A.F. & A.M., Norfolk Royal Arch Chapter No. 1, Grice Commandery and Khedive Temple, Mystic Shrine. In addition to his wife, Mrs. Sue Tuttle Bonney, he is survived by two sons, Wesley L. Bonney, Buffalo, N.Y. and Albert L. Bonney, a student at Carson Long Military Institute, New Bloomfield, Pa. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Brother, 631 Westover Avenue, tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
