Bonney, widow of Jesse T. Bonney, founder of the Bonney home for girls, died at her residence, 401 Olney Road, last night in the 87th year of her age. Mrs. Bonney was born in Princess Anne County, but had lived in Norfolk since infancy. She leaves a daughter, Miss Lennie E. Bonney, a son, Robert B. Bonney and two grandsons, Jesse T. Bonney and George L. Bonney. There are also two great-grandchildren. The funeral will take place from the residence Wednesday noon and will be conducted by Rev. S.T. Senter D.D., pastor of Epworth M.E. Church, of which Mrs. Bonney was a member. The interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
