He was prominent in the real estate business of Norfolk for a considerable time, but retired several years ago because of ill health. He was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church and Rathbone Lodge No. 93, of the Knights of Pythias. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bessie Lester Bonney, two sons, Jesse T. Bonney, of Franklin, Va. and George L. Bonney, of this city, two grandchildren and one sister, Miss Lennie E. Bonney. Arrangements for the funeral had not been completed last night.
