Norfolk - Theodore Booker of 1372 Tanners Creek Drive, apt.7, the husband of
Mrs. Mary E. Booker and a native of Farmville, died  Monday, July 14 in his home.

He worked for Suburban (Tidewater) Cleaners for 45 years.

He was a member of New Light Masonic Lodge and a former member of New Calvary
Baptist Church.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Nancy E. Sawyer and Mrs. Mary E. Benns,
and three sons, Theodore Booker Jr., Leslie L. Booker, and Norris E. Booker, all
of Norfolk;  23 grandchildren;  and 11 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Friday, July 18 in Metropolitan Funeral Home by the
Rev. D. Scarbrough.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Metropolitan Funeral
Home in charge.
