Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, January 8, 1993 
David Vaughan Boone, 56, a trust officer for Ameritrust Corporation of 
Houston, died Jan. 6, 1993, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mr. Boone was a native of Murfreesboro, N.C., and was the widower of 
Elizabeth Johnson Boone. He was a graduate of Maury High School and the 
University of Virginia, where he received his MBA at the Colgate Darden 
School of Business. Mr. Boone served in the Navy and retired from the Naval 
Reserve as a commander.

Survivors include a daughter, Sallie Yates Boone of Newport Beach, Calif.; a 
son, John Vaughan Boone of Houston; his stepmother, Ruth G. Boone, and his 
father, Walter J. Boone of Norfolk.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in H.D. Oliver 
Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, by Dr. Emmett Diggs.

Memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital of The King's 
Daughters or to a charity of choice.
