Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, May 23, 1991 
Helen Elizabeth Boone of the 5500 block of Daniel Smith Road, a retired nurse,
died May 20, 1991, in a nursing home.

Mrs. Boone, a Norfolk native, had retired from Bronx Hospital in New York. She
was a Catholic.

Survivors include a son, Aubrey Holmes of Woodbridge, Va.; three sisters, Vivian
Mangum of Norfolk, and Marie McMurren and Mabel Walton, both of Indianapolis,
Ind.; and a grandchild.

The funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Hale Funeral Home by the
Rev. F.L. Ray. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the family
from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home and other times at 2523 Ludlow St.,
Norfolk
