Norfolk - Final rites for Mrs. Edith Louise Boone, 58, of 220 Duncan avenue were 
held Sunday in Antioch Baptist Church.  The Rev. J. W. Matthews officiated.  
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge.  Mrs. 
Boone died July 12.

The Potecasi, NC, native was the wife of Charles Joe Boone, and the daughter of 
Noah Mitchell and Mrs. Mollie Mitchell.  Mrs. Boone was a member of Potecasi 
Baptist Church and was employed at the Monticello Hotel for 19 years.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Josephine Edwards of Norfolk;  two brothers, 
William Mitchell and Noah Mitchell, both of Norfolk;  and two sisters, Mrs. Cora 
Bowser and Miss Fletcher Mitchell of New York.
