Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - February 13, 1991

John F. Boone, 73, of the 800 block of W. 35th St., died Feb. 8, 1991, in a 
hospital.
Mr. Boone, a native of Gates, N.C., was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Vanzola Boone; four daughters, Doris Young of 
Millington, Tenn., Ruth Bean and Teresa Smith, both of Norfolk, and Suzette 
Boone of Chesapeake; four sons, Joseph Boone, Thernois Boone and Kenneth 
Boone, all of Norfolk, and Archie L. Boone of Boston; 13 grandchildren and a 
great-grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Living Faith Church by the 
Rev. Henry Webb. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends may join the 
family at the home of Janet Davis, 1238 W. 41st St., Apt. A. Elton Funeral 
Home is handling arrangements.
