Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, July 11, 1993 
Virgie M.W. Boone, 92, of the 2500 block of Hale St., died July 9, 1993, in a
local hospital.

Mrs. Boone was born in Norfolk. She was a member of First Calvary Baptist
Church, the United Order of Tent, 100 Womens Club, Daughters of Norfolk and the
Political Women's Club. She was the widow of William Boone.

Survivors include a daughter, Verlene Johnson, and a son, Lemuel Woodley, both
of Norfolk; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a cousin, Ruth Salter
of Virginia Beach; and nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at First Calvary Baptist Church by
the Rev. J.L. White. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Family and friends
will assemble at Graves Funeral Home at 11:45 a.m. for a processional to the
church. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m.
