Norfolk Journal and Guide,Saturday,May 12,1928
Mrs. Nellie Rosa Boone died at her late residence, 1107 Wide Street, Thursday,
May 3, after an illness of two weeks. The funeral occurred Sunday May 6th, from
St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Father Warren officiating. Interment in Calvary
Cemetery. The deceased is survived by a son, John H. Boone, prominent in local
business circles.
