Virginian Pilot July 27, 1990

Elizabeth Johnson Boone, 53, a Norfolk native, died July 26, 1990.
Mrs. Boone was a former teacher in the Norfolk and Virginia Beach public 
schools. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Houston, 
and had served as a member of its vestry. She was a graduate of James Madison 
University and University of Virginia. She had formerly served on the board of 
directors of Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters, Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband, David V. Boone; a daughter, Sallie Boone and a 
son, Vaughan Boone, both of Houston; her parents, Mildred S. and Thomas G. 
Johnson Sr. of Virginia Beach; and a brother, Thomas G. Johnson Jr. of Norfolk.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Elmwood Cemetery by 
the Rev. Charles Austin Joy. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is 
handling arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
