Born on February 11, 1919, in Los Angeles, California, to Frank W. Booth and Louise Werdin Booth, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edwin Frederick Booth. A World War II veteran, Frank served in the Pacific on the USS Marblehead and the USS Canberra. After a 30 year naval career, he retired as a naval aviation officer. Frank is survived by his wife of 69 years, Louise Bosio Booth; a son, Edwin Harold Booth, and his wife, Mary Ann, of Charlottesville; two daughters, Frances Louise Barker, of Norfolk, and Barbara Booth Macomber and husband, Dave, of Harrisonburg. Frank's seven grandchildren include: Donald W. Barker, III, of Norfolk, Louise Barker Harshman, of Canada, Robert Stevens Barker, of Kitty Hawk, NC, Sherry Booth Johnson and Shannon Booth Lohr, of Charlottesville, Alexandra Booth Macomber, of Vienna, and Brittany Booth Macomber, of New York City. Frank has four great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Also surviving is a niece, Catherine Booth Hernandez, of San Diego, California. A Christian wake service will be held at 7pm on Tuesday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, where the family will remain until 8pm. A funeral mass will be conducted at 11am on Wednesday at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
