Booth, of the 2900 block of Beachmont Ave., died Jan. 21,1989, in a hospital. Mrs. Booth, a native of Norfolk, was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Bakers Dozen Social Club. Survivors include her husband, James Booth Sr.; two daughters, Cecelia B. Cooper of Richmond and Christine Booth of Norfolk; two sons, James A. Booth Jr. of Norfolk and Phillip Booth Sr. of Washington, D.C.; three sisters, Susie E. Crimes and Lucille E. Stewart, both of Norfolk, and Ruth E. Goodson of New York; two brothers, Linwood Epps and Joseph Epps, both of Norfolk; and four grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church by the Rev. Walter Barrett. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the church’s building fund. Friends may join the family at 2902 Beachmont Ave. Chatman Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
