He was a cook for 31 years and retired. Survivors include five nephews, Roosevelt Miller and John P. Miller of Norfolk, Clifton Miller of Laurens SC, and Claude Miller of Dendron. (Note: only 4 nephews named) A funeral was held Wednesday, April 6 in Hale Funeral Chapel by the Rev. J. L. Kearney. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
