Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark July 10, 1926

Mrs. Margaret B. Borden, aged 83, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. 
Elmo Billups, 202 Chesterfield avenue, yesterday morning at 10:45 o'clock.  
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Billups 
home.  Mrs. Borden was the widow of the late Capt. John Newton Borden and was 
a member of McKendree Methodist Church.  She is survived by two daughters, 
Mrs. Billups and Miss Margaret A. Borden and four grandchildren, Mrs. J. 
Shenton Lodge, of Stuart, Va., Fred B. Billups, Margaret Billups and Dorothy 
Billups, and three great-grandchildren.  Burial will be made in Magnolia 
Cemetery.
