Employee of R.A. is Taken by Death

Thomas Borland, 34, died at 5:45 o'clock yesterday in a local hospital.

Mr. Borland was connected with the Resettlement Administration and worked out 
of the Washington office. Death followed an illness that confined him to the 
hospital for nearly a week.

His home address was Norfolk, Va., and his Amarillo address was the Herring 
Hotel.

Funeral arrangements are pending the arrival of Mr. Borland's father, Abe 
Borland of Norfolk. He will arrive in Amarillo today.

The body is in the charge of the N.S. Griggs and Sons.
