She was 103.   A native of Norfolk, Mrs Borland was a member of an old Virginian family. She was great-granddaughter of Mosses Myers, builder of the Mosses Myers House, Norfolk.   She was the widow of Col Charles Barney Borland, Norfolk city manager from 1938 to 1945, and the city's chief of police from 1934 to 1938.   She was a member of Old Donation Episcopal Church.   Survivors include a brother, George McBlair of Dallas, a nephew, Marine Col Anthony Walker of Middletow, RI and two cousins, Kathleen and Michael McBlair, both of Virginia Beach.   A memorial service will be conducted Friday morning at Church of The Holy Family Chapel by Rev Jmes E Dorson. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Norfolk. H D Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road, is handling arrangements. Additional Comments: Cornelia McBlair Borland's interment card and obituary state age 103, however her tombstone has "May 17, 1887 - November 17, 1987" engraved(?). Cornelia was daughter of George and Cornelia G McBlair, born 17 May 1884(7?), and is buried next to them in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Norfolk. First married, Edward McCormick Stribbling, born 5 Jun 1885 second marriage to widower Col Borland, son of Thomas R and Carrie Barney Borland, Norfolk, 15 November 1960 in Richmond, VA who died 3 March 1972. He is buried with first wife, Grace Odend'hal in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk. No known children were born to Col Borland in either union.
