The funeral of Miss Mary C. [Chapman] Borland, daughter of United States District Attorney Thomas R. Borland, took place from Christ Church yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Rev. O. S. Barten, D. D., rector of the church, conducted the funeral services, and there was a very large congregation of sorrowing friends in the sacred edifice. The floral tributes were conspicuous for their beauty and appopriateness of design and were in great profusion. The pall-bearers were Mr Frank McCullough, Jos. T. Allyn, Jr., R. O. Taylor, R. O. Taylor, Jr., Harry Goodrich, Alex Agelasto, Cary Weston, Jr., and Thomas Tanner. The internment was in Elmwood Cemetery. Additional Comments: Born 24 July 1873, died 6 June 1890.
