The Norfolk Virginian Pilot August 11, 1939
Miss Virginia Borum, aged 77, daughter of Charles and Mrs. Cordelia Borum, a 
native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, died yesterday morning at 10:50 
o'clock at her residence, 1 Boissevain Apartments, 518 Boissevain avenue.  
Surviving her are two sisters, the Misses Cordelia and Grace Borum.

Funeral services will be held at the residence Saturday morning at 11 o'clock, 
with the Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D.D., pastor of the Freemason Street Baptist 
Church, of which Miss Borum was a member, officiating,  Internment will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.
