The Norfolk Virginian, December 14, 1895

Borum-In this city, at his residence, No. 14 Clay Street, Friday, December 13, 
1895 at 4:07 o’clock a.m., Stephen A. Borum, aged 48 years.
The funeral will take place from the residence Sunday afternoon at 3:30 
o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend.

Death of Stephen Borum, a well-known citizen, who at one time kept a grocery on 
Market Square, and who of late years had been employed as a clerk at the store 
of Mr. W.B. Rudolph, died at his home, No. 14 Clay Street yesterday morning at 
4 o’clock. He had many friends in Norfolk. His funeral will take place from his 
residence tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o’clock.
