He was born in Norfolk Jan. 17, 1919, where he lived until 1969, when he moved to Virginia Beach. He was a son of the late Secondo and Carolina Bosio and was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Katherine Denofa Bosio, a grandson, Christopher, and three sisters, Regatta Westlake, Mary Picone and Virginia Mays. During WWII, he served in Europe with the U.S. Army. Mr. Bosio is survived by two sons, Thomas, and wife, Barbara, and Michael, and wife, Kristin, all of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren, Anthony Bosio, of Florida, Suzanne Robertson, and husband, Matthew, of Virginia Beach and Brad Bosio, also of Virginia Beach; a great-granddaughter, Taylor Robertson, of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Louise Booth, and husband, Frank, of Norfolk, and Katherine Brammer, of California; as well as several nieces and nephews. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Gregory's Catholic Church by Father Mario Fulgenzi. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to St. Mary's Home for Disabled Children, 6171 Kempsville Circle, Norfolk, VA 23502.
