Norfolk Virginian Pilot Monday June 6, 1938
Charles Boudro, aged 74, husband of the late Mrs. Armenia Backus Boudro and 
son of Peter and Mrs. Margaret Boudro, died at a local hospital yesterday 
afternoon at 12:50 o'clock. Mr. Boudro was a native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, 
and a well-known resident of Norfolk for the past 53 years. At the time of 
his death he was president of W.J. Crosby & Company. Surviving him are three 
daughters, Mrs. L. E. Whitehurst, Mrs. C.O. Santos and Mrs. Jennette Miller; 
a son, Charles Boudro, Jr., and four grandchildren, Mary Whitehurst Terry, 
Anne Whitehurst, Jacqueline Boudro and Charles Boudro, III, all of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from the residence, 741 Baldwin place, to Sacred 
Heart Catholic Church, of which Mr. Boudro was a member, for funeral 
services tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock. Interment will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the residence tonight at 8:30 
o'clock.
