Norfolk Virginian Pilot June 23, 1936
Mrs. Armenia Backus Boudro, aged 69 years, wife of Charles Boudro and daughter 
of the late Richard S. and Susan Taylor Backus, a native of Norfolk County, and 
a resident of Norfolk for the past 50 years, died yesterday morning at 11:55 
o'clock at the residence 741 Baldwin Place.  Besides her husband, Charles 
Boudro, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. L. E. Whitehurst, Mrs. C.O. 
Santos, Jr. and Mrs. Jenette Miller and one son, Charles Boudro, Jr., all of 
Norfolk; four grandchildren; one brother, Herbert T. Backus, of Baltimore, Md. 
and a number of nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held at the above 
residence tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock, with the Rev. John W. Rustin, pastor 
of Ghent M.E. Church, of which Mrs. Boudro was a member, officiating.  Interment 
will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
