A retired employee of VEPCO, he worked there for many years. Mr. Boush was a native of Norfolk and the widower of Mary Boush. He was a 33rd-Degree Prince Hall Mason and a member of First Baptist Church, Bute St., Alpha Omega Consistory No. 9, and Excelsior Arabian Temple No. 12 Lodge No. 87. Survivors include his grandson, Samuel Barnes of Clinton, Md.; granddaughter-in-law, Shirley Barnes of Clinton; great-grandson, La'Vour Barnes; nephew, Forest Williams and wife, La'Verne Williams of Richmond; a special friend, Carrie L. Reid. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church, 418 E. Bute St., by Dr. Robert G. Murray. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday in Hale Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The family and friends will assemble at the residence at noon Tuesday.
