A native of Norfolk, and a retired employee of Pennsylvania Railroad with more than 30 years of service, he was a member of Evening Star Lodge and Bethlehem Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, sang in the choir and was former president of the Baptist Young Peoples Union. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Goldie Boush; son, John Thomas Boush III, sister, Mrs. Hannah Spruill of New York City; brother William Boush of Norfolk; and a granddaughter. Funeral services were held Thursday, May 12 at 1:30 p.m. The Rev.J. Q. A. Lassiter, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. Morning Glory Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
