Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a retired lithographer for the federal government. Arthur also served with honor in the U.S. Navy during both WWII and the Korean War. He retired after 24 years of military service. Arthur was a loving and caring husband, Dad and Grand-Dad. He was very active at Christ the King Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He supported charitable organizations, especially the Salvation Army, during Christmas time. Arthur is survived by his loving family, including his beloved wife of more than 49 years, Nancy Weishaar Boutalis; his sons, Stephen and John Boutalis, of Norfolk; his sister, Emily Edmond, and her husband, Curtis, of Florida; and his two special granddaughters, Donna and Dana Boutalis. We love and miss you Arthur, with all the joy and happiness you brought in our lives. We will carry on by holding onto your spirit and all the wonderful memories you gave us. A funeral Mass will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, at Christ the King Church, by Fr. Brian Rafferty. The family will receive friends at the church from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday. Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
